In any gated colony , the Security and Safety is important to all its residents. DLF 2, which comprises of several blocks and high rise apartment blocks, needs a robust security system.
Currently, the Suraksha Committee of RWA of DLF 2 is coordinating with the DLF appointed agency DEDL which is maintaining the security by providing the Security Guards manning the gates and patrolling in lanes.
QRT Guards – Quick Response Teams are always there to fix issues of minor nature, swiftly. Police station in DLF 2 is also reachable.
I understand Suraksha Committee has undertaken a very ambitious project to implement and Augment Currently Managed Security to the next level.
Banners have been put up at vantage points to share with the residents, steps planned to :
Setting up of Boom Barriers.
Installation of CCTV cameras at Gates n Vantage points.
Use Of DLF 2 resident – Stickers for facilitating free flow movement.
Check and control external unwanted elements.
Police Verification of Tenants and Full Time Domestic helpers.
ID cards for part timer helpers.
Recently on 12th Feb, 2023 Suraksha Committe, organized an event covering the following.
- Self Defence tricks for women were demonstrated by the Durga Shakti team of the Police department which can be useful incase they encounter an unforeseen incidents.
Details of the Durga Shakti App which been developed to help female citizens, was also shared. - SHO briefed the members on steps taken to curb flesh trade activities running just outside the locality.
- Precautions to be taken, to avoid cyber frauds were explained by Cyber Crime Expert Shri Manoj Singh and Mr. Mohit. A pamphlet was distributed to all members.
- SHO also apprised on the initiative of contacting Senior Residents of Phase-2, who are staying alone on a Religare basis to create a sense of support and safety for the elderly residents.
- Smriti Chhabra’s suggestion of wearing Kada on wrist of Dementia patients with all contact details of near inscribed on it to help their near and dear to trace the patient.
We residents and beneficiaries of this project must cooperate with the Suraksha Committee of RWA of DLF 2 to ensure successful implementation of the measures, both financially and physically.
