Festivals are an amazing way to celebrate with family and friends. The enthusiasm in the city is evident as you find Ganpati idols being sold on every nukkad. Club 26 welcomed the coming of Ganesha with great zeal. Two priests performed puja and after completing all the rituals, the Amrit vaani paath was done.
There were many events planned for the evening – sector kids came prepared with dances on Ganesha and then there was bhajan sandhya wherein the members enjoyed soulful bhajans by professional singers. After wrapping up a day full of many activities, the next day too was quite engaging as it was the day to bid farewell to Ganesha. The Vindhyachal hall was packed to its full capacity for the same. The day started with Sundarkand path, havan, Ganesha arti and prasad vitran. The festival ended with the visarjan of Ganesha and bhandara.
