Our sector is one of the few sectors in Noida which can claim to be a planned and with ample green spaces providing clean and better oxygen to residents. Our sector developed in a modern yet green sector from a raw piece of land in 1980s.
Many residents chose out sector for its location near golf club and a metro line running adjacent sector which promises a holistic living for its residents.
The parks across the sector with trees and medicinal plants make it a differentiated sector.
Our residents not only focussed on tree plantations but few also adopted the trees planted by them.
The waste segregation practices in the sector are matured now like green waste, dry waste and hazardous waste a like electronic and other wastes and is an everyday waste pick up by the agency to ensure there is no litter of wastes including waste from pet lovers is done at designated places.
Few residents have started rain water harvesting and deployment of solar panel have been done by them.
It’s all a well-known fact, that better we care about our surroundings, the better our planet will be a better place to live. We should strive to go single use plastic less by using recycled cotton or jute bags. Another ambitious target we all can take is to go paper less and use emails or online memos for business work.
We are blessed to have a metro station nearby and by making use of the same we can bring down new cars in our sector and can at best buy electric or hybrid cars for our daily travel needs.
For our daily washing out and cleaning purpose, we should minimize use of water, chemicals, phenyls can switch over to organic ones.
This sector is ours and collectively we can make it even better with these small steps.
