The Sector 36 Resident Welfare Association (RWA), in association with FONRWA, hosted a significant meeting with the CEO and senior Noida officials at the Community Centre. Ashoo, Vice President (Administration), presented 12 key issues to the CEO on behalf of the RWA.
These issues included enhancing green spaces and security by converting the green belt into a nature walk with lighting, water bodies, benches, and fruit trees; converting the vacant D Block park into a play area for kids; covering the Nithari Nala; establishing Club 36; and eradicating double NOC charges for buyers and sellers.
Additionally, the RWA sought improvements to infrastructure, including underground wiring, replacement of rusted poles, re-laying the sewage system, and fancy lighting along main arterial roads. The meeting also highlighted the need for better health facilities, garbage collection, and sweepers.
Furthermore, the RWA proposed restructuring the sector layout by fencing outside plots to include them in the sector and penalizing owners of empty plots that have become nuisances to neighbours.
The meeting aimed to address long-standing concerns and improve the overall quality of life for Sector 36 residents.
As another successful year of celebration concludes, residents are already looking forward to next year’s festivities. Durga Puja has become a tradition, a time when the community gathers to not only honour the Goddess but also celebrate the bonds that make their neighbourhood a vibrant space.
