This time the special thing about Independence Day was that both the SDA children as well as the elders jointly took part in the celebrations. “SETUMA” who is the backbone of our colony took great pains in calling the children to her house for rigorous practices. The senior citizen music group Anand ji, Chitra, Madhubala, Niru, Meena and Vinay sang the patriotic song “Hum laye hain Toofan se kishti nikal ke.” Which was a big hit amongst our colony residents. The Nukkad Natak played by the five children of our colony was amazing. Dravya, Saryas, Devansh and Aditya Kyara performed dance and Ditya sang a song. The Highlight of the programme was 4 year old Abhiraj who sang “Nanha munna rahi hun. Madhav synghal played on Keyboard and Aarav dhingra played on guitar” E Watan Abad raheTu”. Naresh Mallik also sang on this occasion.
The wonderful programs was followed by soft drinks and brunch consisting of chole bhature and mouth watering gulab jamun. About 90 people enjoyed the brunch. The programme was a great success. On the whole from the flag hoisting done by the MC members & children followed by delicious brunch was appreciate by the residents.
