Reel Talk Wednesdays will screen the film ‘Call Me Dancer’ on 25 September 2024 at 5.30 pm onwards at the Aravalli Auditorium, Kalyan Kendra, 9 Paschimi Marg, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. The film is about an athletic street dancer Manish from Mumbai, whose working-class parents depend on their only son’s support. When he accidentally walks into an inner-city dance school and encounters a curmudgeonly 70-year-old Israeli-American ballet master, a hunger develops within him. The screening of the film will be followed by audience interaction felicitated by the curator Aachal Kapur of Kriti Film Club. Don’t miss this captivating story of human perseverance and the transformative power of dance.
