Scoop the Poop
Life forms on this planet are spiritual beings having a physical experience. Man is supposedly the most evolved of these beings having a fully developed mind. The plant kingdom can feel, and the animal kingdom can think when pushed to search for food, water, shelter, and safety. But only a human being has developed enough to make conscious choices of right and wrong.
The coming of Covid 19 was a wake-up call for all humanity! We saw humans trapped in their homes while animals freely roamed our streets. We were supposed to learn to delve deep into our psyche and consciously make the right decisions. Now that Covid has receded, humanity is back to its normal ways.
We are the most developed species but have used our superior minds to destroy the planet, used aggression to destroy each other, and indiscriminately disregarded the sanctity of our living space. Look around us, one step outside our homes and we have to crisscross across the mounds of dog poop just to get to our cars, forget going for a pleasant morning walk!
Charity begins at home. Before we try to rectify the others let us all look within and try to take responsibility for our small areas and keep them clean. Cleanliness is close to Godliness. The streets of our colony do not reflect the consciousness of a developed society but one of pure disregard and apathy. If we all make a small effort to begin by ensuring we do not litter the space around us we will have a clean and green society and this will also reflect in our state of mind as we will be happy to roam around our colony and experience the cleanliness of our surroundings.
Let us all gather together and determine that we will work towards making our colony a space of cleanliness and order and be an example for other colonies to follow.
