It is more than a decade since School administration of the school in Sector 40, has become a headache for the residents of this sector due to their uncooperative attitude in stopping the school buses traffic in the sector.
The school has around 80 buses which ply in the sector from its main gate No. 2 during morning hours and in the afternoon restricting the movement of vehicles of residents and causing them undue delay in reaching their offices and business places. Almost every RWA since then had approached the school administration to sort out this problem but due to their unrelenting attitude this problems is still going on and has become a continuous headache for the residents of this sector.
The school has its two emergency gates No. 2 and 3 on the boundary wall which falls in the sector. These gates were allowed by the Noida to be used in emergency only. Since the school has not made any other alternative provision for plying of its buses, it had started using its emergency gate No. 3 for this purpose thereby creating traffic jams at main gate No. 2 of the sector. After complaints to the Noida Authority, the gate No. 3 was, however, closed for plying of school buses. After that school has started operating its emergency gate No. 2 for plying of its buses which was earlier being used by walker students by shifting them to main gate No.1 and putting them to great inconvenience and risky due to heavy traffic plying on the main road dividing sectors 39 and sector 40.
In the year 2018, the then RWA had obtained orders from DM Gautam Budh Nagar directing the school administration to widen their gate No. 4 falling on main and use it for plying its school buses. But till now these orders have not been complied by the school administration despite repeated reminders from sector RWA also.
The residents of sector had been repeatedly requesting predecessor RWAs to take appropriate action to get this nuisance stopped once for all by again approaching the Noida Authority and DM Gautam Budh Nagar to issue directives to school administration to stop use of emergency gate No.2 also for plying of school buses and to make an alternative provision for this purpose. May some good sense prevail on the sector RWA and the school administration in resolving this long pending dispute?
