Most of the S block residents are very particular about paying their P Tax well in time. Though this year, the MCD web site has improved quite a lot & it has become quite easy to log in & pay P Tax but many of our senior citizens find it reassuring & feel confident when they hand over cheques & take on the spot receipts. Like every year, SBWS made a request to the AA&C office, RK Puram to hold a camp in SBWS Library cum office this year too. Accordingly, a camp was put up on Friday, 10 May, in the society office. P Tax was paid for 91 properties, as some residents paid for multiple properties. Around Rs.7.9 lacs were collected by way of P Tax. The camp hour was extended till 5 pm, though originally it was scheduled only up to 1 pm. Timely payment rebate of 10 % was given to all, & the requirement of Geo Tagging was also waived off. The tax rate is exactly same as last year.
