As has been the practice for the past many years, the MC CC members and many donors celebrate Diwali with the staff members a day prior to Diwali in the sprawling, lush green surroundings of Senior Citizen’s Park. Each staff member, every year, is given a generous bonus, two sets of uniforms, a woolen sweater, and a pack of 1 kg sweets. Many generous donors also join in (12 this time) and give cash and gifts to them. Gifts included cash, woolen sweaters’, warmers, thermos flasks, sweet boxes, etc. H N Mathur of S344 FF gave an insurance policy of Rs three lakhs each and an accident wages coverage policy to all the seven security guards. A very thoughtful gesture. Our staff reciprocated by gifting a yummy Cadbury chocolate to all the MC CC members and donors. A touching gesture indeed.
