Since the month is Kartik Maas so, SBN Veena Goel started with sharing the mythology behind celebrating Dev Deepawali and rituals like deep daan. The center of discussion was sacred plant Tulsi. It was kartik poornima so Tulsi Saligram ji Katha was narrated. The beauty of our culture and religion reflects in the values we carry forward to next generation.
SBN Krishna Uppal sang Tulsi Aarti followed by all present.SBN Dr. Leena Chauhan explained the medical value of Tulsi plant. Health benefits like immunity booster , fever treatment, cold and cough reliever, stress and B.P. reducer, cancer prevention, good for heart, type 2 diabetes, joint pain killer, nurishes skin and hair, blood cleanser, mouth wash ,and last but not the least stress buster – are some benefits due to the antioxidants Tulsi plant is enriched with.
