She is a female dog that resides in A block, Sushant Lok. She was much loved by the park goers besides being children ‘s playmates. Suddenly she started showing symptoms of being sick and gradually she had a tumor protruding from her head. Many were devastated to see her in that condition but no one came forward.
Thumki was suffering then Lata Kumar (A Block), took the initiative and called for help, she tried to contact many NGOs but the conditions were not met. She then was told by a friend that Umeed Hospital vets are helpful and they run a service for strays.
Lata tried to contact the concerned person there and they were more than helpful. With the help of some good Samaritans Thumki was sent to the hospital and came back healthy. She still resides in the same park and still, the children find her the centre of attraction but few know how she managed to dodge the ailment onslaught to keep up with the attention of the park visitors. long live the spirit of camaraderie, humanity lives!
