As I stepped into the F Block Community Center, Gurugram, on March 23, 2025, the air buzzed with energy—an energy of hope, confidence, and transformation. The evening marked 10+ years of Sarvam Shakti, a movement that has empowered 375+ underprivileged girls through education, yoga, arts, and life skills across Delhi, Gurugram, and Bengaluru. Founded in 2012 by Bharatanatyam dancer Neha Bhatnagar with just 20 students, today, it stands as a beacon of self-reliance and strength.
The event began with Vedic chants, setting a spiritually uplifting tone. 160 girls took the stage, their performances in dance, yoga, and public speaking showcasing grace, confidence, and eloquence. The most striking moment? Each girl spoke fluently in English, reflecting their empowerment and readiness for the world.
The day was graced by Gurugram Mayor Rajrani Malhotra, BJP Mahila Morcha National Treasurer Latika Sharma, Haryana Mahila Morcha President Usha Priyadarshini, Rama Rani Rathee (ex-councillor ward no.23), newly elected president of ward no.23 Mr. Kunal Yadav, H-block ward no.1 Councillor Sunder Singh, H Block, RWA president Rahul Chandola, and educationists like Founder and Principal of Happy School-1 Kamal Capoor, Ambika, Principal of Happy School-2, all praising Sarvam Shakti’s transformative impact. Parents, some in tears, watched their daughters shine, their pride unmistakable. Special transportation was arranged to ensure they could witness this moment.
Beyond performances, Sarvam Shakti prioritizes health and sustainability. A nutritious meal of vegetable cutlets, coconut water, and bananas was served, and plastic was strictly avoided, with glass bottles replacing disposable ones. The most inspiring part? The girls cleaned the venue themselves, reinforcing discipline and responsibility. A special awareness session highlighted the benefits of Sanjeevani Juice, packed with natural immunity boosters.
But Sarvam Shakti is not just about learning—it’s about creating futures. The first batch of graduates has secured internships at Heritage School, Vasant Kunj, while the second batch has been placed at Heritage School and Marriott Hotels, with 20 girls already in prestigious roles.
As the evening drew to a close, I realized this wasn’t just an event—it was a revolution. These girls weren’t just dreaming of a better future—they were living it. Confident, fearless, and unstoppable—Sarvam Shakti is proving that when you empower a girl, you empower a generation.
