A1 Central Park RWA organised a welcome for newly elected Councillor Mrs. Sarita Phogaat and Hon. MLA Somnath Bharti. Sarita Phogaat assured the residents to co-operate in all matters related to the ward and try to solve the problems on priority. She has been visiting the colony previously also and knows about the issues. Somnath Bharti also assured the residents and informed that he alongwith the new councillor will make sure the issues are dealt efficiently.
Some Unruly Elements Disrupted the Welcome MLA B4 block RWA invited the newly elected Councillor Sarita Phogat along with Hon’ble MLA Somnath Bharti. It was an evening get together but people came well on time in this chilly weather. It was very heartening to see that a lot of ladies came to greet their new councillor. Bhartiji came late as he had some urgent meeting. In the meantime the RWA treated all the guests with hot samosas. Many gentlemen from outside the block also gathered to welcome the MLA and Councillor. Bhartiji came before Sarita Phogat and thanked everyone for posing faith in him by electing the candidate of his party. He promised that all pending works of MCD relating to pruning cleaning desilting and beautification of parks will be taken up at war footing. He was interrupted in his speech by some misbehaved elements who were reprimanded by the MLA for spoiling his meeting. Sarita Phogat arrived late and could not be welcomed properly amidst the chaos. The RWA had arranged for a small get together for her where many ladies welcomed her personally with a shawl and floral bouquet.
B5 block organised a small get together in their central park to welcome the new councillor elect and MLA in the morning. Few people from other RWA’s were also invited. It was a nice meeting and the MLA as well as the councillor promised action on all the pending civic works with speed.
