Sanjeev and his team have become quite professional, delivering some of the best hospitality facilities one can dream of. Last month we all enjoyed the swanky new Dining Room and the admiration had barely abated when we were presented with this world-class bar!
I have not visited very many residential or private bars around the world but comparing what I have seen with our newly-done-up Bar overlooking the beautiful rear lawn, it is definitely one among the best and some of my foreign guests who happened to be present joined the chorus of tipplers going gaga over it. Every time we visit the Bar, we see members with guests in tow to proudly show off this latest acquisition of their Club.
In humility Sanjeev does not want to take all the credit, saying that this is the work of his Bar Committee – JP Oberoi and VN Gupta with the interiors by designer Aattika Manzar from Aattika Manzar Designs who also designed the Dining Room.
To ensure that members continue to enjoy the live matches and other sports events a big 120-inch floor-rising motorised screen with the latest state of the art Benq Laser projector has been installed. You wouldn’t even know where the screen and projector are till you see it coming out of its specially customised casing.
SONUS intelligent wi-fi based sound systems provide a high quality audio, and the projector has been connected to the sound system to ensure members have a great experience while enjoying their evening over a drink.
To ensure that small groups of members do not occupy larger seating arrangements, care has been taken to provide seating spaces of 04 & 02. However, some members feel that even more seating for 02 & 04 should be provided.
Members had been feeling that with the growing popularity of the Gazebos and the seating arrangements in the well-laid out rear lawns, there was a need to have a bar closer to the decks and lawns where bar services are not allowed. This is the reason why Sanjeev decided to reallocate the Dining Room and Bar.
The oval-shaped bar counter has been designed to ensure that adequate service space is available to serve members who want to take their drinks outdoors.
When the Bar was inaugurated, Sanjeev and his team were given a standing ovation for a job well done!
