Sai Sandhya was celebrated in Anand Niketan after a gap of 3 years on the 17th of March at Sai Park. This was a function that used to take place every year and brought the residents of the colony together. This time there was a big demand for the function to be held again after a gap of 3 years due to Covid. Kukum ji and all the other ladies of the colony contributed to hold the function in the colony.
The Sai park was beautifully decorated and the residents started streaming in well before time to get the optimal seating place. The singers sang devotional and soulful bhajans. The audience joined in with them and soon the air was full of serene devotion.
After the Sai Sandhya, prasad of kadhi chawal and puri chole and halwa were distributed to all the devotees. The entire colony came together to do sewa in the function and that was the reason for its super success. Henceforth the residents would ensure that the Sai Sandhya would be held every year so that it can be an occasion to bring the colony together like always.
