Sai Sandhya was held on the 15th of March at the Sai Sandhya park in Anand Niketan recently. It is an annual event that is conceptualized, financed and organized by the ladies of Anand Niketan for a number of years now. It is an evening that is much looked forward to by all the residents of the colony and has come to hold special significance for the residents.
Like every year, this year the ladies of Anand Niketan contributed and collected money to hold the Sai Sandhya in the well known Sai Sandhya park. The initiative was taken by Kumkum ji who is well known for her organizational skills.
The entire stage was beautifully set up with flower decoration and big portraits of Sai Baba alongwith his majestic statue. 108 jyot diya stand was lit and the entire park was draped with twinkling lights. Adequate sitting arrangements on chairs as well as darees was made and more than 300 people attended the Sandhya.
The singer called for the occasion rendered beautiful bhajans and the entire community joined in the divine experience. Sai Sandhya was followed by Prasad of kadhi-chawal, Puri-sabji and kulfi added the sweet touch. It is occasions like these that foster bonhomie, camaraderie and community feeling in the colony.
