Day of March 16, 2024 cam with a shocking news of the sad demise of Meera Srivastava- an active member of our forum. Members of Senior citizens Forum expressed their heartfelt condolences on the sudden and untimely demise and prayed to the God almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Born and brought up in Varanasi, Meera ji completed her Master’s degree from Banaras Hindu University. She was married to Mr. Krishna Kumar Srivastava, a distinguished mathematics, professor in Madhya Pradesh,. Tragically, she lost her husband a decade ago.
Meera Ji’s world revolved around her only daughter, Sona, who resides in Switzerland with her husband, Sameer, and their two adoring children. Siddesh and Stuti, the Children loved their NANI the most. Together, they have explored the world, venturing to enchanting destinations such as Rome, Paris, Spain, Vatican City, Turkey, and Switzerland, creating enduring bonds and treasured experiences.
In February 2022, Meera Ji embarked on a new chapter by relocating to Prateek Wisteria. This transition brought her immense joy as she eagerly became an active member of the senior citizen community. Engaging in group activities, she relished attending meetings where she delighted in the sharing of poems, humorous jokes, and melodious songs. She was also very active in the affairs of PW Temple. Through these interactions, Meera Ji forged meaningful friendships and connections, enriching her life in her new home.
We will all miss her ever smiling face and enduring nature for all times to come.
