As mentioned in the last issue of Samvada, SBWS got its members directory printed in a record time of just one month after compiling the data, list of members and collecting ads.
In addition, it could also get important inaugural messages from all the concerned VIPs, like the Hon’ble Minister of state for external affairs, Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister in Delhi Govt Saurabh Bhardwaj, Mayor Dr Shelly Oberoi & local councilor Shikha Roy.
The directory was launched at a simple ceremony on 6 May, in the office of SBWS in S Block Park.
Ribbon cutting was done & “ladoos” distributed to all those present & distribution was flagged of by MC CC members.
The salient features of the directory are; pages devoted to useful information & sharing of data of utility services. Photos, names & M Nos. of its authorized scrap dealers & press walls (Dhobis) have also been shared in the directory.
Five hundred copies were distributed, door delivered to the members of SBWS, MCCC members & advertisers. Many rave reviews & comments were received in WhatsApp groups. A few are shared below:
