The much awaited, 2nd edition of Member’s directory of SBWS was launched on 1 May, by President, GKRA, Sanjay Anand, in the presence of MC CC members of SBWS & other office bearers of GKRA.
The yearly directory, being published by the MC of SBWs for the last two years, contains the particular of its members as on 31 Mar, i.e. at the end of the financial year.
This edition, contains the details of its 469 members as on 31 Mar and additionally many useful numbers along with the information of commercial establishments in various markets of GK 1 are also published.
Messages received from several VIP’s wishing good luck to SBWS & lauding its efforts in running & managing the affairs of society are also included.
Another salient feature is the publication of names, MNos & photos of approved “Dhobis” & scrap dealers of S Block, which prove to be very handy for residents.
Annual report of the Society for the year 2023-24 & photos of its several mega functions are also there.
After the launch of the directory on 1 May, distribution was started to all the members & to several govt.departments.Within 2 days, directory was in the hands of almost all its members, except a few, who were out of station. Many appreciative messages were received from the members.
Most notable feature happens to be that no complaints were received from members about any mistakes like wrong number or missing particulars. The editorial team headed by Rahul Bansal did a thorough checking of thousands of entries before sending the CDR files to the printer. SBWS MC thanks the advertisers without whom, printing of a directory is almost impossible.
