For the past couple of years, SBWS has made it a point to reach out to every member on its rolls on Diwali day by sending a dry fruit hamper in a beautifully designed bag or a potli.
SBWS holds many functions throughout the year, but all members, especially senior citizens or those travelling, are not able to participate. The M.C. decided a couple of years back that a Diwali & New Year gift would be sent to each and every member, and then this practice was started.
A token dry fruit hamper of I/2kg is sent to all members on Diwali and a yummy fruit cake with a table calendar on New Year’s Day.
This year the Diwali hamper distribution was completed well before Diwali to all the 470 members, except a few who were travelling or were out of the county. Many appreciative messages were received in the groups. A few are being shared below:
