As in the past many years, Shiv Mandir Trust, S Block, organized Janmashtami celebrations with great enthusiasm and religious fervor, this year too, but on a much bigger scale.
Our Mandir was decorated aesthetically and the inner décor was beautiful.
A big pandal, decorated tastefully, was erected with a stage, Jhoolas, seating arrangements etc. Prasad distribution was done in the most orderly fashion.
The celebrations started at 9 pm and continued till the wee hours of the morning. The park reverberated with bhajans sung by Pt. Surinder Tiwari Ji and team and lot of devotees thronged the venue in large numbers.
(A small suggestion to the organizers for next year- Pl announce repeatedly during the celebrations, asking visitors to throw the left overs in dust bins, which are provided in sufficient numbers. Huge number of plates and glasses can be seen strewn all over the park, the next day.-Thx.)
