Since the MCG takeover in June 2022, the Malibu RWA’s Federation has been actively involved in beautifying the township, complementing MCG’s planned infrastructure projects.
One key initiative is the realignment of curb stones near the main Sohna Road gate, an area prone to waterlogging during heavy rains. While submersible pumps help remove rainwater, the raised curb stones and pathways are designed to improve access for residents, allowing them to enter or exit the township without stepping into the water.
This effort follows earlier improvements, including the construction of ramps at the three main gates (Sohna Road, Park Hospital, and Shopping Arcade), which have reduced rainwater flow into the township. The RWA believes that creative, out-of-the-box solutions can help address challenges like these.
