Meet your candidate was organised by RWA Defence Colony at the club to introduce Aam Admi Party candidate for New Delhi constituency Somnath Bharti. Our MLA Dr Madan Lal along with councillor Anita Sandeep Baisoya were also present.
Residents put up their issues, which were not only answered by Mr Bharti but he also highlighted his plans for his constituency. When asked by environmentalist Bhavreen Khandhari to sign a manifesto regarding environmental concerns he readily signed it and promised to work towards it.
The only concern again in such meets was turn out of residents, which was again low.
What we must understand is that these are the right platforms to understand and be able to choose our right candidate for the next five years. Instead of judging them on whatsapp groups we should be physically present to VET our candidate.
