Sector Children Stole the Show
RWA celebrated the glorious 76 years of Independence with a spirit of patriotism. The event was organised as usual in the Club rear lawn where the tricolour hues featured in the decoration all around and gave it a very patriotic ambience.
The celebrations began with the flag-hoisting ceremony. This time Kiran Tripathi (H.no.27) was invited to do the honours.
More than fifty children participated and exhibited their skills in various fields quite enthusiastically. They sang patriotic songs and performed dances on the stage.
More than fifty children were busy painting in the basement area where the organisers and parents monitored their artsy skills. They made the organisers, their teachers and parents proud. These innocent kids conveyed a powerful message on harmony, unity and the importance of peace in today’s world.
It was a very good initiative to involve the little ones at the programme as they are, after all, the future of the nation!
These moves inculcate the feeling of love for and pride in the nation. Getting together to participate in events like singing, dancing or even painting develops their connection with the Motherland.
The food arrangements made by the Club caterer were also good. It was, for a change, very simple food (aloo, puri, sabzi and kulfi) with no compromise on taste and quality.
