The Annual General Body Meeting of the RWA was held on 30 April. All the candidates participating in the elections were introduced by returning officer Abhikalp Pratap Singh Advocate, SDF 15A).
The first comment came from DD Mishra regarding the renewal of the lease deed. He said that there seems to be something fishy about it. SP Bagla (HNo 219) also raised the issue of lease deed renewal and said that there is no lease agreement directly between the Club and Noida Authority and it pertains to the lease of the Plot No. 225A entered upon between Noida Authority and RWA for a community centre to be built thereon and later we built a Club of our own in that plot.
J.L. Bajaj (HNo 184) complimented RWA EC, especially the lady members for their exceptional work during its term. He pointed out that residents are troubled while obtaining transfer memorandum (TM) from Noida Authority after death of the house/plot owner in favour of his/her son and daughter. He wanted the RWA EC to collect information about the documents to be submitted by the transferee to get the plot transferred in his/her name and circulated among residents.
Kidar nath Bansal (H.No. 327) alleged irregularities and non-accountability in the operations of the club. He pointed out that no audit is carried out. He said that rates of food items are extremely high whereas drinks are subsidized.
Rajesh Malik (50A SDF) said that the Sector has 7 parks which make the sector more beautiful. He suggested that every year a flower show should be organised for the residents of the sector.
Sarup Mattu (H.No 334) informed that the power situation in the sector is not up to the mark. He also raised some issues regarding dog menace in this Sector. Rajnish Kapur, Convenor – Electricity pointed out that break downs have come down recently but follow up action with PVVNL is required to fix the problem.
Mandeep Singh Vinaik explaining the stray dog issues mentioned that the population of stray dogs in the sector has considerably reduced by undertaking timely sterilization and spaying of stray dogs.
Atul Madan (H.No.142) commenting on the points raised by Kidar Bansa stated that we are living in a modern world and we cannot live in past. Mr. Bansal should have progressive thought.
Ashok Dugar (H.No. 91) suggested that more efforts are needed on the horticulture front while complementing the work done Minakshi Goil, Convenor-Horticulture and Vice President for her contribution in making the sector greener and cleaner.
Rajiv Bhatia (H.No. 5) complemented the outgoing RWA EC for the excellent work done. He suggested: The boundary wall construction along the greenbelt facing houses no. 95 – 111 should be extended to all sides of the sector to ensure safety and security of the sector.
The process of election to the Executive Committee of RWA started from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Counting of ballet papers (votes) started at 5:00 PM and ended at 9:30 PM with declaration of results by the Returning Officer.
