Runaway Maid Stashes Bags On Next-door Rooftop

An incident unravelled in a house at JCM when two unidentified bags were found by the owners on their terrace.

The resident, Nitika, saw an unknown maid carrying 2 bags trying to go up their stairs wearing a green suit and when they stopped her and asked where she was going, she randomly said she had to meet the maid there but didn’t even know the name. and then just turned around and ran away. The house owners went and checked upstairs why the maid was going on their rooftop and found two bags hidden in the corner.

They realised that the only access to their terrace was from the adjoining house’s rooftop. It seemed that she probably was working next door and had climbed across the terrace and hidden some stuff on their terrace maybe in an attempt to run away.

They went to meet their neighbours, who were shocked, and they posted a picture of the girl in all WhatsApp groups to find her if possible and they alerted QRT also to check at all gates.

The girl had been employed by the JCM residents through an agency but in a few days sounded unhappy working there and wanted to quit. With kind consideration, the employers let her go amicably paying her the salary due. She left their place nicely and then tried going next door to pick up the extra bags she had stashed on the rooftop with probably some stolen items.

The 2 bags found were handed over to the employers to check the content. The maid was not found but the employers spoke to the agency and complained about the incident. What lengths can the culprits go to for some gains? It was the vigilance of the resident that probably saved their neighbours from a theft. With multi-floor ownership and open entrance, many times, the access to our staircase areas to upper floors is not secured 24×7, we recently have incidents of shoes, and water motors, being stolen from these common areas. It’s imperative to work it out with your building-mates and keep the entrance and exits secured to avoid any access to the troublemakers.
