In today’s tech savvy life, it’s a different approach when comes to children. Early exposure to the internet makes them updated regarding any topic. They are more curi-ous for understanding minute things. Satisfying such enthusiastic minds is challenging for parents and teachers. Parents are now more conscious and involved to know about kid’s progress. There were days when life was only about gaining bookish knowledge and memorising things, but now its overall personality development. Parents know their kid’s behaviour around known people with all amenities and comfort, thus help in grooming them by making them learn family values, practices, culture. At the same time teachers know they are with peers and others people around, when they out of comfort zone. Shaping them to a dutiful and reasonable adult is collaborative task of parent and teacher. Although there are no defined set of rules for the same, but certain points of would help in achieving a common goal for fostering students.
1.Open/Clear communication: Feedback from teachers plays important role. Collectively both should find out the solution of student’s queries. While meeting each other, both should maintain a welcome gesture by listening, adding, implementing to each other’s thoughts. This will build trust and support in conversation and thoughts with kids. They will feel free to discuss their problems, thus mentally relieved. 2.Blend of advance and old communication methods: As most of the time is spent on screens by everyone. Timely mails, WhatsApp messages should be sent to parents. Parents should also keep a check on school website for any updates. Keeping an eye on learning and active participation graph will help everyone to understand student needs. 3.Facilitating continuous learning process: Students should be encouraged for extracurricular activities according to their personality and choice during and after the school hours. Different sports and physical activities should be introduced. This will make them relax and be happy inside.4.Teaching Enhancement: Teachers should continuously think about enhancing and adopting new teaching skills. A real observant teacher is very much familiar with ongoing changes within the student. Every teacher has unique quality and talent. They should be experimentative, proactive in teaching students, engaging them in healthy competitive environment.
