The auspicious Navratri was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Ridgewood on October 6 th 2024, featuring a vibrant Mata Ki Chowki. The evening kicked off with a mesmerizing performance by a professional mandali, comprising ten talented artists. Their deep devotion resonated with the spirited participation of the women of Ridgewood, as they sang heartfelt bhajans in praise of the divine. The voices soared in harmony, reaching exhilarating heights and creating a euphoric ambiance that resonated throughout the venue.
The Chowki itself was a visual delight, meticulously adorned by the Ridgewood team. Every detail reflected the essence of the celebration, creating a warm and inviting space for all attendees. The event was skilfully organised by Kittu Mathur, whose leadership was complemented by the dedicated efforts of Ila Chaturvedi, Kavita Handa, Bhavna Goel, Itika Garg, Manju Kharbanda, Versha Verma, Manju Srivastava, Tripat Kaur, Vandita Gupta, Mishi Iqbal Gupta, Savita Garg, Amrita Agarwal, Jyoti Data and Kunal Majumdar. Their teamwork and enthusiasm were pivotal in bringing this beautiful celebration to life.
Following the spiritual festivities, the evening continued with a grand Bhandara, where ‘bhog’ was served to over 700 residents and support staff of Ridgewood. The communal meal strengthened the bonds among everyone present, fostering a sense of belonging and unity.
