Retreat Society has taken a significant step toward fostering social connections among its residents by introducing Hobby Clubs. This initiative aims to provide a platform for members to pursue their passions, share knowledge, and build meaningful relationships.
Inspired by residents’ requests for increased social engagement, the management committee has launched four to five clubs, with plans for expansion based on feedback. These clubs will have dedicated WhatsApp groups for communication and will organize regular physical meetings and activities.
Unleashing Creative Potential
The first club to take off is the Lens and Wanderlust Club, which brings together photography and travel enthusiasts. The inaugural meeting saw enthusiastic participation from members, who shared valuable insights and ideas. Upcoming activities include:
• Photo Nature Walk within the society
• Theme-based photography challenges
• Travel planning to capture golden hour shots of monuments
The other clubs that have been created are:
Retreat Culture Caravan: Drama, Music, and Dance Club
Retreat Literary Lounge: For literature enthusiasts
Retreat March Point: For sports enthusiasts
Retreat Karigari: For art and craft enthusiasts
These clubs will cater to diverse interests, providing opportunities for residents to explore new hobbies and creating a platform for their creative expression and social connections.
