Residents Should Be Ready to Face Discomfort
Rakesh Kalra addressed a post to Prez Govind Sharma that the sewer lines work will take time, but we need your intervention as 26 Sec RWCS Leaders – the roads are in a mess, deep pot holes all along, it is dangerous for Senior Citizens to move on these roads, apart from our vehicles being damaged. The contractor can pave the roads where sewer line laying and connection to house is already completed. We residents will be happy to see the Trusted Fellow residents in the seat of influence, exercise their power for this work.
Earlier it was reported that our resident Mr. Khanna while walking in the morning on the dug-up road got injured. He told Prez Govind Sharma how he slipped. He said that there was 3 to 4 inches gap between the road and the area which was dug up where the PCC work had been done. This gap of 3 to 4 inches was to be filled by RMC which is scheduled to be done later. In order to fill that gap Mr Khanna had put a piece of stone and it was that stone on which he slipped.
Prez has requested all residents to avoid to putting any brick or stone as it may slip. Thank God Mr. Khanna did not have any major injury & pray to God for his fast recovery and good health. Mr Khanna got 7 Stiches on foot ankle due to slippage on uneven digging in front of home at B 200.
Before the start of this major project Prez Govind Sharma had warned the residents that they should be ready for some struggle and they should be ready to bear the problem.
It is unfortunate that some irate residents of B Block used abusive language against the prez and the RWCS as if they are directly responsible for the laying of the sewer lines. This should be avoided because the RWCS executives primarily volunteers helping its members as best as they can and any abuse would only demoralise their efforts.
We believe that in some cases the labour working on the site are asking for money on some frivolous pretext from residents for doing their connection to the main line. For this Prez Govind Sharma says residents should first check with RWCS before making any payment.
