Reports indicate that the drainage system at Gauri Shanker Mandir had become clogged with rice and grains, causing inconvenience that led to a lengthy cleaning process. As stewards of our environment and custodians of sacred traditions, we must address this issue responsibly.
In response to this concern, a humble request is being made to all devotees to reconsider their offerings. Instead of placing grains directly on the Shiv Lingh, it is suggested to place them respectfully by the side of the deity after first touching the grains to the Shiv Ling. This small adjustment in practice can significantly alleviate the strain on the drainage system while still honouring the sacredness of the ritual.
