DLF2 residents gathered to witness Australia vs. India in the Cricket World Cup 2023 final. The game took place in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19. In J-block Park, Vipin Yadav and his colleagues arranged to watch the match on a big-screen Via a projector. Residents showed their national pride by flocking to the site in large numbers while sporting blue jerseys from the Indians squad. There was a frenzy in the air, along with cheers and shouts of slogans. Every six that was scored drew a round of applause, and when India lost a wicket, the whole crowd erupted. Food stands were arranged on a paid basis. For the attendees, more than 250 chairs and several daris were set up. There were reportedly more than 700 attendees at the event. Though India did not win the iconic match, the feeling of watching the match together and cheering for India was priceless.
