After her demise this year a pall of gloom covered SDA and people are remembering her in their own sweet ways. This is how Burman aunty’ s 90 th birthday was celebrated by the residents of SDA On 29 th December 2022

The most active and respected senior citizen of our colony ..Mrs Burman completed a milestone in her life ….it was her 90 th birthday.. celebrated by the senior citizen group started by her almost 10 yrs ago
Her birthday was celebrated with great pomp and show.
She was given gifts and flowers andwas garlanded by the senior citizen group.
The decoration was done with balloons
Mrs Burman a highly qualified lady and a selfless social worker…She is a gem beyond compare with qualities that are so rare and she is a divine guide at every moment still being mentally alert ..She is a source of inspiration to all of us with her evergreen smile and an epitome of elegance and grace.
May this day brings her love and happiness in abundance along with good health and we all wish that she lives each moment always beaming and she celebrates many more birthdays with her family and friends
Let there be more Joy.. happiness.. peace.. smile.. positivity and mainly laughter in your life … along with good Health
Two great singers of SDA. Naresh Mallik and Indra Mukherjee wished her by singing a melodious song.

Aunty Burman is no more today but her memory will stay forever in everyone’s heart
In Her prayer meeting at the Green park Arya Samaj Mandir a large number of people from SDA and neighbouring colonies came to pay their last respects to the departed soul.
Her son Sachin Burman gave a heart touching Shraddhanjali to his dear mother. Rachna Tiwary spoke about her loving bond with dear Burman aunty and paid her loving tribute to the remarkable lady whom she is going to miss for all times to come.
MLA Somnath Bharti who was in Pune that day sent a live video message which was telecast in the Prayer meeting. Bharti spoke of his special bond with Mrs Burman and remembered her as a strong, dedicated, selfless social worker who had inspired him in many ways. He even mentioned that he would try to get the street named after her name where she lived in SDA.
A lady like Kusum Burman is a rare breed who touches your life in many ways in her own unique ways. Such people should not be mourned they should be celebrated for the enriched life they have lived.
A big salute to this great lady from all of us.
