Residents Should Use Suncity’s Very Own Dispensary

With the changing time and modern developments in the world, health has become a major issue in all the countries in the world.

Haryana has paid special attention to this fact and has opened health centres to take care of the general health of its population which function under the urban primary health centre.

One such centre has been open in Sun city township which is a blessing in disguise for its residents. The dispensary functions 6 days a week from 10 am to 6 pm and on Saturday up to 2 pm. I walked into the to find out how well it is functioning and what facilities it offers to a common man to remain healthy. The centre not only offers free treatment and checkups but also provides prescribed medicines free. First aid facilities are also available. A well-managed lab takes care of different tests like blood sugar, haemoglobin malaria etc.

Besides a monthly schedule of the special camps is also displayed for the knowledge of the patient. Recently a camp was organised for the vaccination of infants 0 to 5 months and 5 to 10 years.

The centre has two medical officers with a staff of 11 including nurses, pharmacists, lab assistants, accountants and multipurpose ANM, Who guide patients with general awareness programs with special attention on hygiene, diet and child care. The hospital takes special care of infants from 0 to 6 months and from 5 years to 18 years. Special care of pregnant women and Sr. citizen is their concern.

Though the hospital has facilities for general OPD if required cases are referred to civil hospital Gurgaon. I felt the centre is working very systematically under the management of Dr Ravi Dalal and Dr Ritesh Bhola.

It was nice meeting Dr Ravi who has done his MBBS from Russia and internship in Civil Hospital Gurgaon. He is happy with his job and loves to help people with their health problems Dr Ritesh has done his MBBs from Andhra Pradesh. both the doctors look competent and I am sure under their guidance dispensary will do well. SRWA is requested to maintain the open space around the dispensary to give it a better look.
