Shahana Nagar Kirtan
On 8th Jan, a Shahana Nagar Kirtan in honour of Prakash Purav of Guru Gobind Singh ji was organised from Sec 12 Gurudwara to Sec-18 Gurudwara passing through Sec 26 headed by MS
Dhami, HK Dua and DS Gambhir. They welcomed the Sangat of Nagar Kirtan with High tea comprising Gazrella, Paneer Pakoras etc to Sangat and all passer bys between 11 am to 6 pm. This welcome and seva was admired by the Sangat and all those accompanying the Nagar Kirtan showered blessings to the serving sevadars. It was well organised & systemized service by virtue of which each-one got Prasad and tea. The used plates/glasses were cleared side-by-side by sevadars.
The Panj Pyaras accompanying the Guruji’s swari were garlanded with rose malas and gulab petals were showered on the Sangat of Nagar Kirtan. Club president RK Khosla took active part and also garlanded Panj Pyaras. While this welcome graced-the Nagar Kirtan but also showed the cohesiveness of the society comprising of all residents of Sec 26 irrespective of caste and creed to show respect to Guru Gobind Singh ji, who laid his life, sacrificed his sons, father and mother for the justice and Dharam (religion) of others and showed them the path of truth by which we could overcome injustice, cruelty and hatred.
