As we all are aware Autumn is around the corner. Keeping this in mind an innovative initiative taken by our SRWA is very appreciable.
Just a few days ago we the residents received a message in our very own WhatsApp group that Flower and Horticulture Enthusiast residents of Suncity can obtain the saplings of flowers and plants free of cost from Suncity Nursery.
On reading the message I felt very happy and surprised that one RWA still exists who not only works for the welfare of society but also takes a keen interest in the upkeep of resident’s homes.
I also visited the nursery along with my wife to find out the reality of the message.
There I happened to meet Seema Sethi (C-40) who takes care of the nursery selflessly. During my interaction with her, I came to know that even the Development of Duck Park was also her brainchild and that of Abhimanyu Khanna (C-138), who with their sheer efforts have brought about this change where there used to be a garbage dump.
This itself is an example of what dedicated minds can achieve. I not only received beautiful saplings of flowers and plants, I also got many valuable tips on their upkeep and growth from Seema Sethi.
For this wonderful and selfless work, I congratulate the Entire Horticulture team along with all the gardeners working for Suncity on my behalf as well as on behalf of all the beneficiaries of Suncity.
I bow my head and salute them for their love towards plants and their dedication.
