Independence Day was celebrated with fanfare at Nanadan Kanan Park with our domestic managers and their families. It was a huge success. Over 300 people attended the event, making it truly memorable.
The flag was hoisted by Vatavaran staff members Deepak Kumar, Gangadhar, Bablu, and Madhu Mia. The event was conceived by Anupma Bhardwaj as a way to show our gratitude to our Vatavaran warriors. Following the flag hoisting ceremony, was the cultural programme where our young children captivated everyone with their beautiful performances.
Then came two races after which food packets were distributed to everyone. All the participants were given lovely gifts.
Anupma Bhardwaj extended sincere thanks to all the residents who attended and to everyone who came together to make the event a success. Special thanks to Shaheen, a lovely domestic manager, and her daughter Yashika for overseeing all the dance rehearsals, and to Radhika for her excellent choreography.
