Resident Complains of Fraudulent Help

Recently, a resident of NFC, shared a picture of her cook Ranjana Yadav, who cheated her of money. She apparently is very well behaved and soft spoken. She extracts money from the employers by narrating sob stories. What surprises me is that, often people are discouraged to reveal such frauds. Family members and friends discourage to bring to light, such matters, just because of the fear, of repercussions. Indeed it is sad to see such situations. Law and order does not encourage people to open up. In fact, the fear of being harassed often prevents people from reporting matters of cheating, theft etc. Contributed by Sangeeta Jindal
