Living is all about our responses to various life experiences. Gradually, for reasons best known to all, children are not being exposed to situations where they can learn it. Once this becomes a way of life, the magic called ‘Life’ is cherished.
With the objective of inculcating values in the growing children of Boulevard, a series of sessions on Bal Vihar Classes has been initiated on the weekends. The series was started with the blessings of Swami Chidrupananda of Chinmaya Mission, Noida on Saturday, 4 January 2025, with a talk on Parenting.
This session was organised as the prelude to the 90-minute Bal Vihar classes that started from Saturday, 11 January. These shall be conducted on Saturdays from 11 AM to 12:30 PM in the Clubhouse.
Bal Vihar is one of the grassroot activities of Chinmaya Mission, which aims at Value Education for children in the age group of 5-12 years. The motto is: “To give maximum happiness to the maximum number of people for the maximum amount of time.”
These sessions help children to bloom holistically, grow with values integrated through fun-filled activities, games, storytelling and camps.
Bal Vihar sessions focus on the development in Seven Pillars: physical, mental, intellectual, spiritual, knowledge and adherence to Indian culture, patriotism and developing a universal outlook.
The sessions are conducted by Mrs. Rajani Saggar (Tower 14, 1801). The children performed the Saraswati Pooja on Saturday, 1 February, in the mandir premises, guided in the proper manner.
