The pressing issue regarding rash driving by outsiders in B-6 Block of Safdarjung Enclave. The safety of residents and pedestrians has been compromised due to the excessive speed of vehicles passing through our neighborhood. We, the concerned residents of B-6 Block, have witnessed a significant increase in the number of outsiders using our residential area as a shortcut , leading to dangerous situations for everyone in the vicinity. The absence of traffic calming measures, such as speed breakers, exacerbates this issue, making it imperative to address this concern promptly. Mr Kochar has written a letter to the DC requesting his esteemed department to consider their plea for the installation of speed breakers along the main roads within B-6 Block. These speed breakers would effectively deter speeding vehicles and ensure the safety of residents, especially children, senior citizens, and pedestrians who traverse the area daily.
