The residents of C Block, Sector 31, came together to celebrate India’s 76th Republic Day at the Niharika Community Center. The festivities began with the ceremonial unfurling of the tri-colour national flag at 10:15 am, marking the beginning of the celebrations.
The event was made even more special by the enthusiastic participation of children, who came dressed in fancy costumes, recited patriotic poems, and sang songs that echoed the spirit of nationalism. A particular highlight of the event was when small little children sang a patriotic song. Though the song was an emotional one, the cuteness of these small angels put a big smile on the faces of people, reminding everyone of the innocence and joy that children bring to such celebrations.
Team RWA recognised and rewarded the talented young participants for their efforts. Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, refreshments were served to all the residents who had gathered to be a part of this momentous occasion. The celebration was a testament to the community’s spirit of patriotism and unity, and served as a reminder of the country’s rich heritage and the importance of Republic Day.
