As customary for the past several years DLF’s oldest welfare association QERWA celebrated the Republic Day this year too with full honour and enthusiasm on 26th Jan’23 at the front lawn of DLF-1 F-Block Community Centre.
Baljeet Singh Rathee, President QERWA, gave the welcome address and outlined the development works got carried out by Association. Councillor Rama Rani Rathee also addressed the gathering.
Lt. Gen. B.N. Shahi was the chief guest who unfurled the national flag and gave an inspirational speech highlighting nationalism and gave ‘mantra’ for India becoming the ‘Vishwaguru’. He also acclaimed Haryana for being the leading state in promoting sports giving the country many international players continually.
A patriotic song and a poem were recited after the chief guest’s speech.
The programme was well attended and was concluded with the ‘Vote Of Thanks’ by Sumit Bhaskar, Hony. General Secretary of the QERWA and was followed by tea & snacks.
