Amrapali Eden Park celebrated India’s 74th Republic Day with full vigor in vibrant colors. The celebration area was nicely decorated in tri-color. The event started with flag unfurling and speech by AEPAOA president, Jas Narad. The event saw a very diverse and inclusive participation with as small as 3-years-old kids and learned senior citizens. The event was organized by Amrapali Eden Park cultural committee with support from AEPAOA.
The enthusiasm was not at all deterred by the chilling winds. The participants performed with passion and love for motherland. The spirit of unity was displayed in well-coordinated dance performances by kids. The impromptu dance on Nattu Nattu brought the stage alive. Mothers and learned senior citizens recited poems, some of them even self-written to the awe of the audience. Musical flavor was added by the keyboard performances to the tunes of the patriotic songs.
We enjoyed the snacks and warm tea.
The sports events kept the kids of all age groups engaged till the end. It included lemon race and marathon. Thanks to the races, kids were finally tired and ready to go home. The event was concluded with prize distribution ceremony for the winners in multiple races.
The collective efforts from all – the organizers, participants and great audience – truly replicated the ‘Spirit of Unity’ for the nation.
