A Combined R Day Function by RWA (Gumbad) & A block RWA was held at Def Col Club
It Was a Spectacular Show
As in earlier years this is also a combined Republic Day function was organized by the RWA (Gumbad) and A Block RWA. Flag hoisting was done by Chief Guest Gen VN Sharma. The other dignitaries included were MLA Madan Lal Sandeep Baisoya, Abhishek Dutt and SHO Inspector Chander Shekhar.
The function started with a welcome speech by President RWA Veena Khanna followed by a very inspiring speech by Gen Sharma.
A very nice Fancy dress competition was organised with the theme “States of India by Saguna and her mom’s group in which it was a delight to see small children perform so confidently. Followed by a painting competition where about 100 children participated.
Prizes and participation gifts were given to all children.
A lavish lunch was also organised for the member guests. It was a very well organized and a great event.
