The 74th Republic Day celebration in the Emerald Court Society was marked with a series of events that started with a Ceremonial Parade around the society with residents joining it along the way with utmost enthusiasm. A lot of residents lined up along the pathways also to cheer and show their support.
The flag hoisting and cultural programmes were held at the amphitheater. Flag hoisting ceremony was followed by a speech by the ECORWA President, UBS Teotia. A cultural programme that displayed the patriotic fervour to the hilt was marked by amazing performances by kids.
RWA also awarded Certificates to a few employees in recognition of their outstanding services throughout the year. The winners of sports events organised for the residents received the medals from the President.
As a reminder of the historic court battle that ended with the demolition of Twin Towers, the Tricolour was also hoisted atop the now massive mountain of rubble.
The residents and their children gathered in the Emerald Court premises in large numbers to join the celebrations with a sense of national pride, patriotism and mutual camaraderie.
