Lots of work has been taken in hand by the present BOM for the improvement of infrastructure and repairs to structures.
The exterior repair and painting of all the towers are under planning and will start from around 15th December. This was much needed after a few incidents where the plaster fell from the tower exteriors. The work will first start from Tower 2 and Tower 7, and then move on to other towers.
The RFID systems are being upgraded DG’s will soon be completely automated. This would reduce the DG switchover time and the need for the manual switchover.
The lift panels are also being upgraded for an early response time.
Another exciting development is that installation of EV charging stations for resident cars is in the works. The AoA is in talks with TATA Power to install charging points in the basements for residents with electric vehicles. With most of us moving toward electric vehicles, the infrastructure for this is much needed.
Other works included the sewer lines being pressure cleaned and repair to the leakages on expansion joints. Injection grouting of the leakages in the retaining wall has been planned as well.
