Many of you may have gone through my last write-up on Club3 in the May issue of Samvada, your community magazine. We got a reaction from the Club3 Café Manager Saurabh stating that all the ACs are working & 113 club lights have been replaced. The ugly stain behind the counter has gone & the entire Café has been painted afresh.
Club Manager Raman Jain informed that the pool is crystal clear & all the pipes have been rectified after completing the plumbing work. Besides, dry cleaning of all lounge sofas along with repair of all gym equipment has been done.
With everything seemingly in place, the club managers proudly announced the screening of IPL finals on the big screen in Club3 on Sunday, 28 May, promising an ultimate experience with lip smacking snacks, with family and friends.
A long-standing grouse of the residents is the absence of any event from the club management which can establish Club3 as the hub for residents to meet and gup-shup.
Sure enough, I went for the IPL screening. About 40 residents had called Raman and Saurabh for details and booked seats. About 20 people were there when this writer reached.
The arrangements were elaborate what with white – covered chairs and a sumptuous menu showing veg and non-veg snacks and soft drinks. But rain on the Ahmadabad field played spoilsport and most started leaving disappointed after a snack or two. The preparation was tasty and served with courtesy.
It is a marvellous initiative taken by the club management. Residents should reciprocate and support the club. After all, residents do want a place to meet socially in mornings, evenings and on holidays.
The club on its part has assured many more events to facilitate such get-togethers. Cheers to that!
