Foundation Picks Up Religious Waste and Disposes Them Properly
The festivals in India not only bring joy and merrymaking spirit but a lot of after residue of the festivities; the left-over flower petals, earthen diyas, discarded coconut shells, terracotta idols and other titbits. People can’t throw them in the garbage but they keep lying around and being degenerated by the surroundings.
IAMGURUGAON found a nice way to dispose off this waste by encouraging people to drop off the festival residue at Pracheen Hanuman and Shani Mandir, off Sunset Boulevard, Gurgaon, 8 am to 5 pm any day except the National Holidays.
There is another foundation named Prabhu Aastha Parivar that arranges a pickup of religious waste that people refrain from throwing into the common garbage. They pick up the throwaways from the address and dispose of them off properly with religious rituals and one can just donate 10 to 100 INR to them in return for their services. They can be reached at papfoundation.in or 9818005099. Such efforts should be lauded and encouraged as they provide great solace to society in general and help in maintaining a cleaner surrounding.
