The Inner Wheel Club, Noida celebrated its Dual Wood Anniversary on Monday, 3 June at the Clubhouse. It completed five years; hence, the Wood Anniversary. Additionally, the Club President, Manju Sud, a resident of 9083, completed five years of her presidentship; thus, the Dual Wood Anniversary.
On this occasion, a bench made of recycled plastic was installed outside the clubhouse. The Inner Wheel District 301 Chairman Dr. Urvashi Mittal inaugurated it. AOA BOM President Col. Gurvinder Singh and Prof. Neeta Verma graced the occasion.
Dr. Mittal and the Club members honoured Ms. Sud who, in turn, honoured the dignitaries with wooden bead necklaces, coconut shell soya wax candles and her poetry book माही. For entertainment, Ms. Sud and Babita Sharma sang a duet song, composed by the former.
Ms. Sud also staged a talk show, Maaza With Manju, with past international Inner Wheel President Anita Aggarwal as her guest. She launched her second poetry book ekgh, the first being साहिबा.
The Club newsletter ‘झलक – A Glimpse’ was released. A vintage shop by the name ‘Pre – Loved परिधान was also set up with the tagline ‘हैं तो पुराने पर नए जैसे, खर्च करने पड़ेंगे कम पैसे’’.
